Description

We are now looking for a psychologist for the student health services at Berggårdsskolan and Eriksboskolan at 60%.

Bergsgårdsskolan has students from grades F-6 and is currently a two-parallel elementary school and adapted elementary school from grades 1-6, with students studying subjects and subject areas. The school is located in Hjällbo, close to nature areas and public transport. Eriksboskolan is an elementary school from F-6 and is also located in the vicinity.

Responsibilities

As a psychologist, you are part of the student health team (EHT) together with a school social worker, school nurse, special education teacher, school counselor, and school management. We collaborate closely with other actors in the area such as social services, resource units, youth centers, and the local housing company. The student health services will be organized under the principal who directs and leads the work of student health at the school.

Together with your colleagues in the EHT, you primarily work from a preventive and health-promoting perspective. You carry out various forms of investigations at the request of the principal, and for the parts that fall under the Health and Medical Services Act, a quality management system has been developed, along with a PLA that supports, follows up, and quality reviews the work of psychologists.

Typical tasks for the psychologist in the school may include:

• supervising individual educators or work teams
• providing further education to other professionals in relevant areas, such as mental health
• conducting various forms of individual assessments
• collaborating with both internal and external actors, such as guardians and healthcare neighbors
• contributing to and participating in school development work and value-based work

The psychologists in student health have regular supervision in the psychology group and also professional meetings in the educational area led by professional developers.

Bergsgårdsskolan and Eriksboskolan are schools where students are at the center. Our focus is always on the students, both individually and in groups. For example, we provide a lot of encouragement and praise and see the positive in each student.

Qualifications

To thrive in the role with us, we are looking for someone who:

• is a licensed psychologist
• enjoys and has the ability to drive development work
• has good knowledge in the NPF area and IF
• is well acquainted with appropriate testing instruments
• can create trust-building relationships
• is clear in your communication, both verbally and in writing
• is responsible
• has good collaboration skills

It is an advantage if you have:

• experience working in schools/preschools or experience working with children and adolescents
• some form of further education regarding supervision/consultation methodology
• experience in conducting investigations
